WHEREAS, the Butte County Board of Supervisors has entered into a project agreement with Caltrans and the
Federal Highway Administration to participate in the Highway Bridge Program (HBP) for the construction of the East Rio
Bonito Road Bridge across Hamilton Slough; and
WHEREAS, the project agreement requires that the County of Butte acquire all rights-of-way and easements
necessary to construct the project; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte must complete all rights-of-way and easement acquisitions necessary to deliver
night -of -way certification to Caltrans.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby authorizes the Director of
the Deapartment of Public Works to negotiate and sign agreements for acquisition of real property for road purposes,
agreements for temporary construction easements, and permit to enter and construct improvements for owners benefit
for the East Rio Bonito Road Bridge across Hamilton Slough, State Bridge No. 12C-0164, Federal Bridge Replacement
Project BRLO-5912(091) and complete the delivery of the right-of-way certification to Caltrans.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of California, this 14th day of
June 2022, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Lucero, Ritter, Kimmels,hue, Teeter and Chair Connelly
NOES: None
