Please feel free to direct any staff or department directors who contact you back to HR as Sheri and her staff have the best information for the process and can also put them in touch with their unit representatives. Also, BCMEA can still accept the County’s offer pending the Decertification and HR is scheduled to take to bring an MOU for BCMEA to the Board for review and adoption on July 26th. The decertification process will continue as it was filed timely and in conjunction with outlined rules. Have a great afternoon. Notification has been sent today (see attached) to all BCMEA employees. You and/or your staff may receive questions about the process. Please have them reach out to their BCMEA representatives, Teamsters representatives or myself, Aaron Quin, Elisha Novell or Tiana Gray in Human Resources. We are entering the 30 day window period where other employee organizations can also file to become the recognized bargaining representation for the unit. Once the 30 day period is over (August 14, 2022) an election will take place to determine which representative will prevail. As I know more about the details of the election I will be sure to let you know. If you have questions give me a call. Thank you!
