PER BUTTE COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES SECTION 13, 5.1(c)(2):
FOR ALL EXCAVATIONS OR FILLS THAT DISTURB LESS THAN ONE (1) ACRE IT IS
THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PROPERTY OWNER TO INSTALL AND MAINTAIN
BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES TO PREVENT THE OFFSITE DISCHARGE OF
SEDIMENTS AND POLLUTANTS FROM THE DISTURBED SITE.
THEREFORE:
1. CONTRACTOR TO PLACE STRAW WATTLES, WILT FENCING
AND/OR STRAW MULCH PER BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES (BMPS)
PRIOR TO ANY SOIL DISTURBANCE TO MINIMIZE EROSION
AND SEDIMENT FROM LEAVING THE PROPERTY.
2. STAGING AREA PER SWPP. PLACE STOCKPILES, ALL EXCESS MATERIALS,
FUELING FACILITIES AND PORTABLE TOILETS IN THIS AREA. ENSURE
COVER MANAGEMENT SUPPLIES ARE NEARBY FOR EMERGENCY USE IN
COVERING EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS BEFORE RAINFALL. AREA MAY
RELOCATE DURING PROGRESSION OF PROJECT.
3. DURING SITE CONSTRUCTION, THE SITE SHALL BE GRADED TO DIRECT
RUN-OFF TOWARDS THE PROJECT INTERIOR.
- INDICATES INTERIM GRADING (SEE NOTE 3).
- INDICATES STAGING AREA - MAINTAIN PROPER STOCKPILE
MANAGEMENT (SEE NOTE 2).
- INDICATES CONCRETE WASH AREA, (SEE NOTE 5).
- INDICATES STRAW WATTLES or SILT FENCE PLACED AROUND
PERIMETER OF PROJECT SITE, (SEE NOTE 1).
- INDICATES V-DITCH ALONG UPHILL SIDE OF CONSTRUCTION
