OROVILLE, CALIFORNIA - The Butte County Board of Supervisors will consider an employment

dedicated service and look forward to the Department’s continued success moving forward.”
Interim Chief Melissa Romero has been with the Butte County Probation Department since 1999

Department includes six years of service as a Chief Deputy Probation Officer at times overseeing
Juvenile Hall operations, the Juvenile Division, and the Adult Division. She was promoted to Assistant
