RESOLUTION OF INTENT GIVING NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING TO CHANGE THE NAME OF A D LANE TO GILLETTE WAY
IN THE NORTH GRIDLEY AREA
WHEREAS, a petition to change the road name of A D Lane, a privately -maintained roadway located north of
Colusa Highway, was submitted by a private property owner to the Butte County Address Coordinator consistent with the
requirements of Butte County Code section 32-6; and
WHEREAS, said petition contained signatures of over 60 percent of the property owners whose property is
serviced by such A D Lane and the proposed road name, Gillette Way, has been verified to meet the following criteria:
1. The proposed road name does not conflict with any existing road names; and
2. The proposed road name does not duplicate or sound like any existing road names in Butte County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby:
1. Gives notice that at its regular meeting on August 23, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., in the Board of Supervisors
Chambers, Butte County Administrative Building, 25 County Center Drive, Oroville, California:, a hearing shall
be held to hear all persons interested in the change of A D Lane to Gillette Way.
2. That at the conclusion of said hearing the Board intends to change the name of A D Lane to Gillette Way.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors hereby orders that notice of the August 23, 2022 public
hearing shall be given by posting notice in at least three (3) places along the road proposed to be affected, such posting
to be complete at least ten days before the day set for the hearing.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 26x" day of July, 2022, by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Lucero, Ritter, Kimmelshue, Teeter and Chair Connelly
NOES: None
ABSENT:None
NOT VOTING: None
