Subject: Approval of Minor Modification (MIN 21-0001) to Pentz Pit Reclamation Plan
(RP 78-99)
Dear Mr. Saber:
On May 26, 2022, the Department of Development Services approved your application for a
Minor Modification (MIN21-0001) to Reclamation Plan RP 78-99 for the Pentz Pit Mine (CA Mine
#91-04-0001). The project was approved with the findings that the Minor Modification would not
result in a substantial deviation from the original Reclamation Plan approval, the goals and terms
of the original Reclamation Plan will remain in effect, and that the project would not result in new
significant environment impacts, or a substantial increase in previously identified environmental
impacts.
Should you choose to appeal the decision of the Department of Development Services, please
submit your appeal, in writing, together with the appeal fee of $737.45, to the Department of
Development Services, located at 7 County Center Drive, Oroville 95965, prior to 5:00 p.m. on
May 26, 2022.
