WHAT MONKEYPOX VACCINE ARE YOU USING?
JYNNAOES OR ACAM2000? DO YOU HAVE EITHER
ONE OR BOTH AVAILABLE?

On the January 25, 2022 Butte County Board of Supervisors Meeting Danette York
mentioned being the "hub of treatment options to distribute to health care providers"....
what are these? Serving as the “hub” means that BCPH staff coordinates between the State
and local healthcare providers for various therapeutics allocated for Butte County, to make
sure the therapeutics to be used by the healthcare provider gets delivered to them. The
current list of those therapeutics are as follows:
· Bebtelovimab – Monoclonal antibodies

· Paxlovid (regular) - Antiviral
· Paxlovid (renal dosing) - Antiviral
· Molnupiravir - Antiviral
· Evusheld – Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (for immunocompromised
patients)
Note: some retail pharmacies do receive antivirals directly that local public health has no
information on or oversight over.
Respectfully,
Danette York
