Plan and Schedule for 2022 Emergency Action Plan Tabletop and Functional Exercise
Dear Mr. Blackett,
Pursuant to 18 CFR §12.4(b), South Feather Water and Power Agency is providing notification, and
seeking approval, of the scheduled Emergency Action Plan (EAP) combination Annual Seminar,
Tabletop and Functional Exercise. I have previously coordinated with Mr. Ricardo Galdamez, of your
office, to determine his availability for attendance at the December 8, 2022 event, to be conducted at
the Power Division Headquarters in Forbestown, CA. This combination of exercises will ensure that the
Agency maintains compliance with the FERC’s dam safety requirements, as set forth in Chapter 6 of the
Engineering Guidelines.
While Agency staff are not able to attend the FERC 2022 Two-Day Emergency Action Plan Exercise
Design Course, scheduled for September 30, 2022 in Saint Paul, MN, we have contracted with a firm
experienced in developing, conducting and evaluating comprehensive EAP exercises previously
approved and attended by FERC staff. We expect Agency staff to gain working knowledge on the EAP
exercise process from conception to completion by working closely with our consulting team.
