Dear Frank L. Blackett:
This letter requests authorization to remove hazard trees to address Recommendation 6
(R-6) from the 2017 focused spillway assessment (FSA) report (dated December 29,
2017) for Round Valley Dam, which is part of
(PG&E) DeSabla-Centerville Hydroelectric Project, Federal Energy Regulatory
Commission (FERC) No. 803. PG&E provided our most-recent update regarding R-6 in
a letter to your office dated May 3, 2022.
request for authorization is provided in Enclosure 1 of this letter. In support of
request, the locations of the hazard trees identified are shown in Enclosure 2,
and further details on the hazard trees are provided in a table in Enclosure 3.
