I have reached out to the State to help get information in response to Julie Threet’s emails and
information that I believe is mis/disinformation. Please see information below, including a link to an
article written about one of the sites she uses to get her information. Here are some excerpts from
staff at CDPH:
I found this article on it! Craig Paardekooper’s Shady Site Shows COVID Anti-Vaxxers Will
Believe Anything (thedailybeast.com)
From a quick review, it looks like it is a software engineer who is using VAERS data to do his
own research
there are no batches that are considered “bad” that would not have been recalled (which
would be big news!)

Yes, there are no batches that are considered “bad” that would not have been recalled (which would

Hello Lam –
The VA58 Trust and Safety team (the rumors team) are the team to help address this concern.
The Immunization PHMO team is unaware of any COVID vaccine “bad batches”.
I have included Al and Kate in this email chain to confirm that this information that Butte
County has heard from the community is a rumor.
