August 23, 2022 Susan & Shawn Smith 652 Luds Way Oroville, CA 95965 Re: Notice of Administrative Permit Approval (ADM22-0026) Dear Mr. Shawn and Ms. Susan Smith: On August 19, 2022, the Butte County Zoning Administrator approved your administrative permit application to establish a winery on the property identified as APN: 030-250-052. Enclosed with this notice is a copy of the administrative permit with conditions of approval.
An Administrative Permit must be exercised within two (2) years after the date of approval, or the permit will expire and become void. The permitted use will be considered exercised if a building permit is issued and construction has commenced, or if the permittee notifies the department in writing when the use is established. If the use is exercised
within two (2) years, but is later abandoned for period of one (1) year, the permit will be considered expired and void. Any decision made by the Zoning Administrator, including the conditions of approval set forth in this permit, may be appealed in accordance with Section 24-266 of the Butte County Code. If you are not in agreement with the decision for approval, or the conditions of approval, you must file an appeal in writing together with the appeal fee of $737.45 to the Department of Development Services within ten (10) days after receiving this notice.
