Good Morning,
I am writing to alert the Board that this morning DESS received word that two children in foster care
were abducted by their father from their foster home in Yuba City late last night. We are working
closely with the District Attorney’s office in response to this information. Today, you will likely see
Amber Alerts and other media information related to this matter.
The children are: Claire Freeheart (12yo) and Donald Freeheart (10). Their father’s name is Michael
Freeheart.
