Supplemental Response to FERC Comments Revised Drilling Program Plan

Dear Frank L. Blackett:
This letter presents additional information to supplement our revised drilling program plan
(DPP) for Philbrook Dam, which is part of
DeSabla-Centerville Hydroelectric Project, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission
(FERC) No. 803. PG&E filed our most-recent revised
DPP with FERC on February 18, 2022.
Revised Tables 4-1 and 6-1 are included with this filing as Enclosure 1 and are intended to
supersede Table 4-1 and Table 6-1 of the DPP filed on February 18, 2022.
Additionally, updated resumes for drilling personnel are included with this filing as
Enclosure 2. Tom Scott with Geo-Ex will perform the responsibilities of lead driller on-site
and will perform all sonic drilling work. Resumes for supplemental drilling personnel, Paul
Britton and Nick Maher, are also included with this filing. These individuals will support
drilling operations if sonic drilling and mud rotary drilling need to be performed
concurrently. In this case, Tom Scott will perform sonic drilling while either Paul Britton or
Nick Maher performs mud rotary borings.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, nonessential PG&E staff continue to work
remotely, and hard copy filings are not practical at this time. If FERC requires hard copies
of this letter and enclosures, please contact the license coordinator identified below. If
necessary, hard copies will be sent after PG&E staff return to their normal work locations.
