Re: Design Change of Access Improvement Project Grizzly Forebay Dam
Dear Mr. Nimick:
This is in response to a letter dated April 7, 2022 from Mr. Robert Ellis that
submitted a design change notification for the Access Improvement Project at Grizzly
Forebay Dam, which is part of the Bucks Creek Hydroelectric Project, FERC No. 619.
We have reviewed the submittal, and we have the following comment.
Ultimate bond strengths were updated as result of field observation as
. Please provide additional
information on how the updated ultimate bond strengths were estimated.
Provided that PG&E addresses the above comment within 10 days of the date of
this letter, PG&E may continue with the design change. Failure to adequately address
our comment within 10 days will require a suspension of all work until the comment is
addressed.
