At the time the notices for the following rulemaking items were published,
the location of the May 19, 2022 Commission meeting had not yet been

On March 25, 2022, the Fish and Game Commission (Commission) provided notice of its
intent to amend subsection 7.40(b)(50), Title 14, California Code of Regulations (CCR),
concerning Klamath River Basin sport fishing; and notice of its intent to amend subsections
7.40(b)(4), (43), (66) and (80), Title 14, CCR, concerning Central Valley sport fishing. The
notices were published in California Regulatory Notice Register 2022, No.12-Z.
ANDonApril 29, 2022, the Commission provided notice of its intent to amend Section230,
Title 14, CCR, concerning issuance of permits for contests offering prizes for the taking of
game fish; and notice of its intent to amend subsections 632(b)(9), (37), (41),(42), and (91),
Title 14, CCR, concerning allowed and prohibited uses for state marine recreational
management areas. The notices were published in California Regulatory Notice Register
2022, No. 17-Z.
At the time the notices were published, the location for the May 19, 2022Commission
meeting had not yet been determined.
At a teleconference to be held on May 19, 2022, at 8:30 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the
matter may be heard, the Commission will consider the following actions:
