I received notification today that Holli Drobny is leaving the Department for another job. As many of you know Holli is our MHSA coordinator and also our PIO. Holli’s resignation represents the 4th Executive member who has resigned in the past 2 months (Mart Brown, Ana Vicuna, Maddy Irving) which accounts for 50% of our team members. I currently have two of my Executive positions being filled by staff working out of class and also have two recruitments for the remaining positions flying. Overall, Behavioral Health is experiencing a 22.4% vacancy rate at this time and we are doing everything possible to fill open positions and to meet client care obligations. In addition, as we are considered a healthcare provider, at any given time, we have additional BH staff out per the Department of Health Care Services regulations due to COVID exposure and/or who test positive. This has increased the amount of work on the remaining staff who are being asked to cover client care needs. This information is being shared with you as you may receive comments from members of the community about disruptions in services at the Department and we would appreciate your understanding and support. If you have any questions please let me know.
