HomeMy WebLinkAbout22-120RESOLUTION TERMINATING THE PROCLAMATION OF LOCAL HEALTH EMERGENCY FOR AVIAN INFLUENZA
WHEREAS, a local health emergency was declared to exist in the County of Butte due, to Avian Influenza
on August 17, 2022 by the Local Health Officer and was affirmed and ratified by the Board of Supervisors on
August 23, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the situation resulting from said conditions are now deemed to be within the control of the
County of Butte; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the California Emergency Services Act, Article 14, Section, 8630, the local
governing body shall proclaim the termination of the local emergency at the earliest possible date that
conditions warrant.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the Couinty of Butte, State of
California, does hereby proclaim the termination of said local health emergency.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 13th day of September, 2022, by
the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Ritter, Kimmelshue, Teeter and Chair Connelly
NOES: None
ABSENT: Supervisor Lucero
NOT VOTING: None
