Good afternoon Board –
During the April 26, 2022 Board Meeting, your Board unanimously approved sending out a letter of
opposition to SB 1186 (which would restrict local jurisdictions from adopting or enforcing any
regulation that prohibits the sale of medicinal cannabis; and prohibits the application of CEQA for
local ordinance related to medicinal cannabis).
This bill has reached the Governor’s desk. The attached letter was sent out today to the Governor,
requesting that he veto this Bill.
