Blackett: This letter reports on the completion of Pacific Gas and Electric Company’s (PG&E) efforts to complete Recommendation 11 (R-11) from the 2017 focused engineering assessment of the spillway at Bucks Storage Dam, which is part of PG&E’s Bucks Creek Hydroelectric Project, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) No. 619. PG&E submitted a copy of the spillway assessment report to your office on January 2, 2018, and filed a plan and schedule to address the recommendations from the report on April 21, 2021 , with a subsequent extension of time request provided to your office on December 30, 2021. A summary of PG&E’s efforts to complete R-11 is enclosed with this letter (Enclosure 1). For reference, R-11 is copied below, followed by a summary and conclusion regarding PG&E’s efforts to address the recommendation. R-11: Repair coatings for spillway flashboard steel members. PG&E recoated the spillway flashboard steel members in 2022 , as shown in Photos 1 and 2 below. PG&E believes that R-11 has been satisfactorily addressed and no further response is necessary.
