announced his retirement effective, October 14, 2022; and
WHEREAS, Geoff began his career with the County of Butte on October 3, 1998 as an Office Assistant 11 serving at
the Front Desk ofthe Departments Administrative Services Division and progressing, toHuman Resources support for the
Department around March 18L 2088, promoting to Personnel Operations Specialist on December 18, 2004, then
Administrative Analyst, Associate on June 9, 2012, and being reclassified as Department Human Resources Technician on
July 8,Z0,2Z;and
WHEREAS, Geoff has devoted his career to providing human resources support to the Department of Behavioral
Hea:|th, wve|cern|nQ newly hired employees, and cheerfully handling a bigh volume of human resource activity from staff
movement torecruitments and leaves of absence and has taken great pride in hisjob conducting himself with the highest
level ofintegrity and responsibility; and
WHEREAS, Geoff has provided human resource support to Department and sen/ed under six Department
Directors: Scott Kennelly, Dorian KbreU^Amne Robin, Ed Walker, Dr. Brad Luz, and Ron Erickson, and several interim
directors, dedicating himself toproviding excellent customer service tostaff; and
WHEREAS, Geoff has worked diligently for the past 34 years in the best interest of Butte County, earning the
respect of his colleagues and the many employees he has served over the years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BEDFRESOLVED that the Butte County Board mfSupervisors hereby extends its appredabnn
for your many years of dedicated service.
