Ordinance Section 24-222
A. Per Table 24-179 of the Butte County Ordinance, new towers or poles are allowed in the HI zone,
subject to approval of a Minor Use Permit.
B. The location, size, design, and operating characteristics of the proposed use will be compatible with
the existing HI zoning of the subject property.
C. The proposed use will result in no impacts to, nor be detrimental to, the public health, safety, and
welfare of the County. The location, size, design, and operating characteristics of the proposed facility
will not create unusual noise, traffic, or other conditions that may be incompatible with the surrounding
land uses.
D. The proposed use is properly located within the County on a parcel with HI Zoning, which allows new
towers subject to approval of a Minor Use Permit. Electrical and communications infrastructure, and
vehicular access are available at the site and require no significant expansions.
E. The size, shape, and other physical characteristics of the subject property are adequate to ensure
compatibility of the proposed use with the existing and future land uses in the vicinity of the subject
property. The subject parcel will occupy approximately 800 square feet of currently unused space on a
50-acre parcel.
