MOUNTAIN OAKS PROPERTIES, INC., WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS
ORDER R5-2014-0153-DWQ-R5222, BUTTE COUNTY
The wastewater treatment and disposal system for the Mountain Oaks Properties, Inc.
(MOPS) subdivision is regulated under Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control
Board (Central Valley Water Board) Order R5-2014-0153-DWQ-R5222 (WDRs),
General Waste Discharge Requirements for Small Domestic Wastewater Treatment
Systems, adopted on 3 February 2017. This order covers wastewater discharges to
land from small domestic systems with a maximum average daily flow of
100,000 gallons or less.
Central Valley Water Board staff has reviewed your case file for the years 2006 through
2022 and conducted a recent site inspection of your facility. The purposes of the
inspection were to document current facility operations and determine compliance with
the WDRs.
The attached Inspection Report summarizes the findings made during the
28 September 2022 site inspection. The facility appears to be generally well-operated
and maintained.
