HomeMy WebLinkAbout22-173RESOLUTION |NRECOGNITION OFCHRISTA TAYLOR UPON RETIREMENT FROM BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT QF BEHAVIORAL HEALTH WHEREAS, Christa Taylor, Behavioral Health Program Manager with the Department of Behavioral Health, has announced her retirement effective December 31, 2022; and WHEREAS, Christa began her caireer with the County of Butte as a Public Guardian in October of 1999. Subsequent tuho|dimgthatpositiunfor1hneeyeen4C�hristatramsfernedtotheSenimrCommectionsProgram,vvhereshewaspnomoted toSupervisor. Christaworked inthe Senior Connections prn8ranmfor three years. Chhstatransferred tothe ROOF program at Behavioral Health, again working with intensive case management cases, The ROOF program was the first iteration mf what would become amintensive case management team. Following her completion ofgraduate school, Christautilized her skills and experience and worked within the CalWorks Program as a Clinician. Christa was once again promoted and became a Oim[Ca| Supervisor, supporting Chico Youth and Crisis Services. Un 2030, Christa was promoted to Program Manager and has provided assistance and leadership to Gridley Community Counseling Center and Chico Adult Services, serving the whole spectrum, of Behavioral Health Clients and Staff during her tenure with the department; and WHEREAS, Christa hos devoted her career to improving the lives mfchi|dnem, families and adults and has taken great pride in her job as a public servant conducting herself with the highest level of integrity and responsibility; and WHEREAS, as a Program Manager, Christa has provided excellent customer service to clients and their families and valued the role nfleadership and nmentorship,promoting high-quality oareandUnkaQetosen/ioesomdsuppnrUn8tMe growth nfBehavioral Health; and WHEREAS, Cbrista hasvvorked diligently in the best interest of Butte County and its residents, earning the respect of her colleagues, employees, other County departments, community stakeholders, and the many clients and staff she has served over the years, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby extends its appreciation for 23 years of dedicated service.
