WHEREAS, On JuUv 15, 2022, the California Department of Aging (CDA) notified all Directors of County Human
Services Departments of the opportunity to apply for grant funiding to meet the needs of diverse older adults and adults
with disabilities; and
WHEREAS, CDA is allocating $48.5 million for Access To Technology (ATT)program; and
WHEREAS, ATT program funding provides older adults and adults with disabilities access to digital connectivity
and technology to reduce isolation, increase social connections, and enhance self-confidence in navigating digital and
online resources; and
WHEREAS, Butte County Department ofEmployment and Social Services ("Grantee") was approved on October
14, 2022 for the ATT program in the amount of $429,884.00; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE[TRESOLVED that the Butte County Board mfSupervisors hereby determine and declare as
SECTION 1. That Grantee is hereby authorized and directed to accept the ATT program grant.
SECTION 2, That the Director nfEmployment and Social Services, or his/her designee, is/are aio1horized and
directed toact ombehalf nfButte County lnconnection with ATT program grant, and boenter into, execute, and documents
required ordeemed necessary,
SECTION I That Grantee shall be subjected to the terms and conditions that are specified in the California
Department of Aging Standard Agreement, and that Grantee shall use the ATT program grant in accordance with the
California Department wfAging Standard Agreement.
