Snow Storms
WHEREAS, a local emergency presently exists in the County of Butte due to severe winter snow storms
in accordance with the proclamation made by the Chief Administrative Officer on the 2nd day of March, 2023
and reaffirmed and ratified by the Board of Supervisors on the 9th day of March, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the situation resulting from said conditions of extreme peril is now deemed to be within the
control of the normal protective services, personnel, equipment and facilities within the County of Butte; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the California Emergency Services Act, Article 14, Section 8630, the local
governing body shall proclaim the termination of the local emergency at the earliest possible date that
conditions warrant, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Supervisors of the County of Butte, State of
California, does hereby proclaim the termination of said local emergency.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 11th day of April, 2023, by the
following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Ritter, Durfee, Teeter and Chair Kimmelshu
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
NOT VOTING: None ...
