Subject: Approval of Certificate of Merger (MER23-0003); APNs 059-097-003, -004, -016.
Dear Applicants:
On March 27, 2023, the Department of Development Services made the finding that the Certificate
of Merger on the above referenced properties is exempt from environmental review, and approved
the project.
Please allow ten (10) days from the approval date, which falls on (Thursday, April 6, 2023) before
you record the merger. You will pick up the signed Certificate of Merger, approved Legal
Description and Plat (both to be provided by your surveyor), and Owner’s Certificates for William
and Loraine Hambleton at our offices located at 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, between the
hours of 8-4 Monday through Friday, except for Wednesdays, when we are open 8-3.
A Clerk Recording Fee made out to “Butte County” is due when you record your certificate of
merger at the Clerk Recorder’s Office located at 155 Nelson Avenue, Oroville. Please let me know
when you record the Certificate of Merger.
Should you chose to appeal the decision of the Department of Development Services, please
submit your appeal, in writing, together with the appeal fee of $761.43, to the Department of
Development Services, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California 95965, prior to 4:00 p.m. on
Wednesday, April 5, 2023.
