Subject: Approval of Certificate of Merger (MER23-0002); APN: 066-390-003
Dear Ms. Bautista:
On May 5, 2023, the Department of Development Services made the finding that the
Certificate of Merger on the above referenced properties is exempt from environmental
review, and approved the project.
Please allow ten (10) days from the approval date, which falls on Monday, May 15, 2023,
after which you are able to record the merger. The Certificate of Merger (signed) will be
available for pickup at our front desk at 7 County Center Drive, Oroville. Take your revised
Owner’s Certificate and revised legal description, along with the County-signed Certificate
of Merger to the Clerk Recorder’s office for recordation. Please notify me once this is done
and I will confirm the recordation and sign off on the associated building permit.
A Clerk Recording Fee made out to “Butte County” is due when you record your certificate
of merger at the Clerk Recorder’s Office located at 155 Nelson Avenue, Oroville.
Should you chose to appeal the decision of the Department of Development Services,
please submit your appeal, in writing, together with the appeal fee of $761.43, to the
Department of Development Services, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California 95965,
prior to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, May 15, 2023.
