WHEREAS CalVCB advances $40,000 annually (pursuant to Government Code §6504) for emergency payment to
victims; and
WHEREAS the District Attorney shall exercise appropriate internal records, internal controls and management of
the revolving fund as required by the agreement; and
WHEREAS, the current agreement with CalVCB expires on Jun 30, 2023.and renewal of the CalVCB agreement is
necessary to continue emergency payment to victims for the period of July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2026;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby authorizes the Butte
County District Attorney to enter into the agreement with CalVCB and further authorizes the District Attorney to execute
any agreement amendments, extensions and other documents required by the terms of the agreement.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 13x" day of June, 2023 by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Durfee, Ritter, Teeter and Chair Kimmelshue
