THE STATE WATER RESOURCES CONTROL BOARD AND DESIGNATING A REPRESENTATIVE TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT AND ANY AMENDMENTS THERETO, FOR BUTTE COUNTY SERVICE AREA 82, STIRLING CITY SEWER
SYSTEM REHABILITATION i CONSTRUCTION PROJECT
WHEREAS, the County of Butte is a political subdivision of the State of California with responsibility for operating
and maintaining County Service Area 82, Stirling City Sewer System; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte is authorized to enter into an agreement with the State Water Resources Control
Board and the State of California for construction funding under the Clean water State Revolving Fund program; and
WHEREAS, County Service Area 82 is in need of rehabilitating the wastewater collection system, which is over 70
years old; and
WHEREAS, the County of Butte in 20,14 conducted an income survey of the residents living in County Service Area
82 and established that the median income of the residents was of an amount that made the area eligible for grant funding
under the Clean Water State Revolving Fund program.
1. That the Board of Supervisors hereby authorizes and directs the Director of Public Works, or his designee to sign
and file, for and on behalf of the County of Butte, a Financial Assistance Application for a financing agreement
from the State Water Resources Control Board for the planning, design, and construction of CSA82 Sterling City
Sewer System Rehabilitation Project.
2. That the [director of Public Works, or his designee, is designated to provide the assurances, certifications., and
commitments required for the financial assistance application, including executing a financial assistance
agreement from the State Water Resources Control Board and any amendments or changes thereto.
B. That the director of Public Works, or his designee, its designated to represent the County of Butte in carrying out
the County's responsibilities under the financing agreement, including certifying disbursement requests on
behalf of the County and compliance with applicable state and federal laws.

AYES: Supervisors Connelly, Durfee, Ritter, Teeter and Chair Kimrnelshue
