HomeMy WebLinkAbout23-083RESOLUTION AMENDING THE BUTTE COUNTY MASTER FEE SCHEDULE
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors established the Butte County Master Fee Schedule by Resolution 09-044 on
March 24, 2009 and has amended the Master Fee Schedule overtime; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of section 54985 of the California Government Code, the County of Butte is
authorized to adopt and implement fees for services, provided however, that such fees do not exceed the estimated
reasonable cost of providing such service; and
WHEREAS, the County strives to increase and maintain clarity, consistency, and transparency of the Master Fee
Schedule; and
WHEREAS, The Department of Public Health requests to apply general modifications by renumbering and
clarifying fee language for 23 fees in the Environmental Health Division's fee schedule; and
WHEREAS, The Department of Public Health requests to remove two (2) fees from Environmental Health Division's
fee schedule; and
WHEREAS, The Department of Public Health requests to add six (6) new fees to their Environmental Health
Division's fee schedule, supported by Assembly Bill 2178 (Limon) and Senate Bill 972 (Gonzalez); and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was noticed ten days prior to the date of this Resolution, pursuant to sections 66016,
66017(a), 66018, and 6062(a) of the California Government Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby adopt fees as delineated
in Exhibit A and amend the Butte County Master Fee Schedule to reflect the changes; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, all fee adjustments shall become effective sixty days after adoption, on September 25,
2023
