Dear Tribal Representative:
The Butte County Department of Development Services (Planning Division) is forwarding the above
project for your review, pursuant to California Public Resources Code (PRC) §21080.3.1. Our
department has certified that the application is complete and will prepare an initial study and negative
declaration per the California Environmental Quality Act. A description of the proposed project and
the project’s location is provided below.
Project Description/Location
The SACWireless (applicant) proposes establishing a new wireless telecommunication facility with a 90
ft. tall monopole and associated equipment within a 660-square-foot lease area. The project site is
located at 6029 Hwy 99 E, at the Nelson Avenue intersection, 2 miles north of State Highway 162, in
an unincorporated area 3 miles northeast of Richvale; Assessor Parcel Number: 029-070-060.
Pursuant to PRC §21080.3.1(b), you have 30 days from the receipt of this letter to request a consultation
with Butte County. If you have any questions regarding this matter or would like to provide any
