RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING APPROPRIATION LIMIT FOR COUNTY OF BUTTE FOR FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 AS REQUIRED
BY SECTION 7910, DIVISION 9 OF THE CALIFORNIA GOVERNMENT CODE
WHEREAS, Article XIII-B of the California Constitution provides that local governments must establish annual
appropriation limits pursuant to said Article; and
WHEREAS, Section 7910, Division 9, of the Government Code, provides that the governing body of each local
jurisdiction shall, by resolution, establish its appropriations limit for the following year at a regularly scheduled meeting;
and
WHEREAS, the Auditor -Controller has calculated in Butte County appropriations limit for fiscal year 2023-2024 to
be $226,747,831; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby establishes the
appropriations limit to be $226,747,831 for fiscal year 2023-2024; and
FURTHER, that said appropriation limit, and the determination thereof are in compliance with Article XIII-B of the
California Constitution.
