Resolution No. 23-142
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE OMRR&R AGREEMENT AND FUNDING FROM THE FLOOD MAINTENANCE ASSISTANCE
PROGRAM FOR NAMED AREA 3 — BUTTE COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS
WHEREAS, resolved by the Butte County Board of Supervisors of the Named Area 3 — Butte County Public Works,
pursuant and subject to all of the terms of the Budget Act of 2022, that funds awarded to Named Area 3 — Butte County
Public Works by the Department of Water Resources for a Flood Maintenance Assistance Program project titled Named
Area 3 Flood Maintenance Assistance Program (2023-FMAP—NA0003-01) have been accepted; and
WHEREAS, as a condition of accepting these funds, the Funding Recipient committed to signing an additional
agreement with the Central Valley Flood Protection Board, or successor, to assume responsibility for the operation and
maintenance of 2023-FMAP NA0003-01.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED the Director of Butte County Department of Public Works is hereby
authorized and directed to sign an operation, maintenance, repair, rehabilitation, and replacement (OMRR&R) agreement
with the Central Valley Flood Protection Board, or successor thereto.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Butte County Board of Supervisors of the Named Area 3 —
Butte County Public Works on the 7th day of November, 2023, by the following vote:
AYES: Supervisor Connelly, Durfee, Ritter, Teeter and Chair Kimm9ghue
NOES: None
ABSENT: None--7
NOT VOTING: None
