This facility will be where PG&E assess's vendor partner and internal
empooyees that perform our vegetation management systemwide.
There will be no training, only validation of knowledge skills and abilities
of regulations, laws, and PG&E specific procedures. We use untreated,
utility poles with various attachments to provide a consistent tree
analog for evaluation purposes. All evaluations are scripted and are
pass / fail. All vegetation management personnel that are performing
tree work or inspections on PG&E’s behalf will be evaluated and
qualified before working on property before 2025. Daily though-put at
proposed maximum efficiency will be up to 60 people evaluated a day
with just as many staff. All assessment stations that were used will be
reset daily with heavy equipment.
