Resolution No. 23-147
RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF CHARMAIGNE E. DAMRON FOR 39 YEARS OF SERVICE
TO THE BUTTE COUNTY AGRICULTURAL COMMISSIONERS OFFICE
WHEREAS, this Board expresses its appreciation to Charmaigne E. Damron for her 39 years of dedicated service
to Butte County; and
WHEREAS, Charmaigne began her employment with Butte County Agricultural Commissioner's office on
November 19, 1984, as a Typist Clerk; and
WHEREAS, in 1991 Charmaigne was promoted to the position of Office Assistant, in 1997 Charmaigne was
promoted to Administrative Assistant, and in 2016 Charmaigne was promoted to Administrative Analyst; and
WHEREAS, Over the years Charmaigne well -represented the Agriculture Commissioner's office through her
clerical, financial and administrative support; and
WHEREAS, dedicated long-term employees are integral to maintain a level of knowledge and organizational
history which is valuable to Butte County; and
WHEREAS, after serving the residents of Butte County for 39 years until Charmaigne's untimely passing on
November 24, 2023; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby recognizes the dedication
and devotion given by Charmaigne E. Damron during her career with the Butte County Agricultural Commissioner's Office.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Butte County Board of Supervisors this 121h day of December, 2023, by the following
vote:
AYES: Supervisor Connelly, Durfee, Ritter, Teeter and Chair Kimmelshue
NOES: None
