It is our understanding that this removes the requirement for 7A materials (exterior). It is acknowledged that the building CANNOT be used for storage or occupancy. 1. Rappelling access and interior climbing wall access have been eliminated. The climbing wall will remain on the exterior of the building but all interior use for climbing will be eliminated. All access openings will be eliminated.See notes on Building Elevations,Sheet 1 of 4(attached).See revised Project Purpose and Building Code Analysis on Sheet 3 of 4. 2. Existing flooring at the second level will be removed to comply with landing requirements at the second level. Refer to Sheet 2 of 4, "Landing Floor Plan". Flooring will be removed to limit the area at this level to less than one-third of the total available area (less than 192 square feet is allowable). This level is then not considered a "floor".This Landing Floor Level will not be used for storage. It will only be used for access to the stairways and to the top of the water tank for maintenance purposes. Existing flooring at the third level will be removed to comply with mezzanine requirements at the third level. Refer to Sheet 2 of 4, "Mezzanine Plan". Flooring will be removed to limit the area at this level to less than one-third of the total available area (less than 192 square feet is allowable). This level is then not considered a"floor".This Mezzanine Level will not be used for storage. It will only be used for access to the stairways and to the top of the water tank for maintenance purposes. In effect, the building becomes a one-story structure. 3. See responses above.
