Subject: Storm update
Board Members,
Today the State proclaimed a State of Emergency covering all California in response to the current
series of storms. This proclamation includes Butte County, should we incur any storm damage.
So far we have had minimal impacts. At this point, it looks like Saturday, Sunday, and Monday are
the days to watch. As I mentioned earlier, we are staged and ready to act as needed. We have a EOC
ready to go, but not yet activated.
Additionally, we have been in touch with all our local jurisdictions to coordinate any needs they may
have, and have established a daily call to have rhythm of communication in place should an
emergency ensue.
