Subject: Approval of Merger Certificate (MER24-0004); APNs 059-089-001 & 059-089-002
Dear Applicant,
On Wednesday September 4, 2024, the Department of Development Services found that the Certificate
of Merger on the above-referenced property is exempt from environmental review and approved the
project.
Please allow ten days from the approval date, which falls on Friday, September 13, 2024, before you
record the Certificate of Merger at the Clerk Recorder’s Office.
You will record the following documents, which can be picked up at the Butte County Planning Division
(7 County Center Drive) after the appeal period (September 13, 2024):
• Certificate of Merger – with Wet Signature (enclosed)
• Owner’s Certificate with notary form (enclosed)
• Legal Description (original copies provided to Butte County Development Services)
A Clerk Recording Fee is due when you record your certificate of merger at the Clerk Recorder’s Office
located at 155 Nelson Avenue, Oroville. Please provide a copy of the recorded document to Butte
County Development Services.
Should you choose to appeal the decision of the Dept. of Development Services to the Planning
Commission, please submit your appeal, in writing, together with the appeal fee of $797.97, to the
Department of Development Services, 7 County Center Drive, Oroville, California 95965, before 4:00
p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024.
