Subject: Approval of Certificate of Merger (MER23-0008); APN: 062-160-013 & -015
Dear Mr. Cullen:
On November 28, 2023, the Department of Development Services made the finding that
the Certificate of Merger on the above referenced properties is exempt from
environmental review, and approved the project.
Please allow ten (10) days from the approval date, which falls on Friday, December 8,
2023, after which you are able to record the merger. Please bring or mail your original
Certificate of Merger along with your Owner’s Certificate and new Legal Description to
the Butte County Department of Development Services at 7 County Center Drive,
Oroville, California 95965, for a signature. Then, the Merger application can be taken or
sent to the Clerk Recorder’s office for recordation. They have options for remote
recordation if you cannot make it to Butte County.
A Clerk Recording Fee made out to “Butte County” is due when you record your certificate
of merger at the Clerk Recorder’s Office located at 155 Nelson Avenue, Oroville.
