HomeMy WebLinkAbout24-005BOARD OF SUPERVISORS COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA Resolution No. 24-005 RESOLUTION IN RECOGNITION OF LISA SALZMANN UPON RETIREMENT FROM BUTTE COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF EMPLOYMENT AND SOCIAL SERVICES WHEREAS, Lisa Salzmann effective December 29, 2023; and WHEREAS, Lisa began her career with the County of Butte and DESS on June 6, 1990, as a Social Worker II. She separated on March 20, 1992, but returned to the County and DESS on December 13, 1993, as a Social Worker III. Lisa successfully moved up the career ladder to her current position as Social Worker Supervisor on August 18, 2012; and WHEREAS, Lisa provided strong leadership within the department and in the community by encouraging and modeling a spirit of collaboration, cooperation, and excellent customer service; and WHEREAS, As a Supervisor, Lisa has dedicated herself to providing support and encouragement to staff, and valued the role of educating and empowering staff to provide the highest quality of work; and WHEREAS, Lisa has devoted her career to improving the lives of children and families, and has taken great pride in her job as a public servant, conducting herself with the highest level of integrity and responsibility; and WHEREAS, Lisa has worked diligently for the past thirty-one years and eight months in the best interest of Butte County and its citizens, earning the respect of her supervisors, her peers, and the many community members she has served over the years; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board, on its own behalf and on behalf of the citizens of Butte County, extends its appreciation for your many years of dedicated service.
