HomeMy WebLinkAbout24-103�,dogmas,a& • .♦�.•sup P J BOARD OF SUPERVISORS �* '• ` #' COUNTY OF BUTTE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA �,,oen"""10,,° Resolution No. 24-103 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE GRANT OF A NON-EXCLUSIVE EASEMENT FOR UNDERGROUND UTILITY LINE PURPOSES AFFECTING COUNTY OWNED REAL PROPERTY IN PARADISE WHEREAS, the County of Butte ("County") owns real property identified as Assessor's parcel number(s) 054-040- 021 and 054-040-023, respectively; also known as 539 and 541 Pearson Road in Paradise, California ("Properties"); and WHEREAS, Pacific Gas and Electric Company ("PG&E") is working to restore safe and reliable electric, gas, and communication service ("Project") to the areas impacted by the 2018 Camp Fire; and WHEREAS, the Project on a portion of the Properties is complete, therefore PG&E requires that the County grant a non-exclusive easement with rights of ingress and egress to the easement area as depicted on Exhibit A and Exhibit B in the Easement Deed; and WHEREAS, consistent with the direction that the General Services Department received from the Butte County Board of Supervisors on February 8, 2022 the County worked with PG&E to develop an easement area on the Properties that is limited to what is necessary for future access and maintenance; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Butte County Board of Supervisors hereby: Approve the conveyance of non-exclusive real property easement rights over a portion of County owned real property to PG&E. Authorize the Director, General Services to execute all documents necessary to facilitate the conveyance including the Easement Grant Deed.
