4. REGULAR AGENDA
4.1. Board Member/Committee Reports and Board Member Comment
Supervisor Ritter
First 5 Executive meeting, PG&E tour, Butte County Behavioral Health Advisory Board meeting, attended
opening of the Sobering Center, Sac Valley Basinwide Air Pollution Control Council meeting, Butte County
Local Government meeting regarding the unhoused and flood control, and Vina GSA meeting, and took a
tour in District 1.
Supervisor Connelly
Attended LAFCo meeting, Oroville Dam Citizens Advisory Committee meeting, reached out to the VA
assistance center and received excellent service, and the Supervisor urges people to visit the Butte County
Fair from August 22, 2024 through August 25, 2024.
Supervisor Durfee
Attended the opening of the Sobering Center, Local Government Committee meeting, meeting with
Water Commissioner about issues, and spent time reviewing current agenda issues.
Vice-Chair Teeter
Attened the PG&E tour, Sobering Center opening, GSNR meeting, spoke with a reporter about the Park
Fire, RCRC has a nonprofit called the Rural Alliance Institute and they visited Mariposa and took a
tour. The Supervisor requested tour ideas to provide to the group. The Rural Alliance Institute also
conducts research and they are currently hiring a professor to research Fire and EMS in rural counties.
Also, due to Park Fire, Senator Butler sent staff to the LAC and spoke with providers. He further took the
staff members on a tour to Cohasset and Forest Ranch and discussed fire issues.

the Board of Supervisors is prohibited from taking action on any item not listed on the agenda. Please
note that Public Comment is in two separate sections. One, at the beginning of the regular agenda, which

time limits.
