SUBJECT: PRE-APPLICATION MEETING PROJECT SUMMARY
CIVIL DESIGN IMPROVEMENT PLANS FOR
BUTTE VALLEY SUPPLY/EARTHWORM SOIL FACTORY
2552 CLARK ROAD, BUTTE VALLEY, CA
Dear Mr. White:
The civil improvement plans will consist of a grading plan sheet, utility plan sheet, site plan, erosion control
plan and detail & notes sheet.
All storm water runoff from the site will be captured and conveyed to the retention storage tank which is to
be located on the south side of the project. The retention tank will be sized to contain the 100-year post
construction storm. The tank will be connected to a pump and force main to allow water to be pumped from
the tank to the inoculation area for use on the compost bunkers.
A driveway entrance is proposed near the south side of the site and will be designed per Caltrans standards
and specifications. The design will be submitted to Caltrans for review and approval.
