Board of Supervisors
Chico Friends of the Library recognize the Board for the successful culmination to the effort to secure adequate
funding for the library when no previous effort came to fruition. The goal for an adequate general fund emerged
from Prop 13 in 1978 and spanned 46 years of struggles. With Measure H adequate funding for libraries has been
accomplished.
