Dear Butte County Development Services:
This letter requests that Butte County reviews the attachments of T-Mobile’s proposed modification on an existing
telecommunication facility located near 2867 Oroville Quincy Hwy, Oroville, CA 95966 and to determine that the
design is deemed Planning and/or Building Approved.
Please find along with this application the following supporting documents:
1. Construction Drawings
2. Section 6409(a) Eligible Facilities Request (EFR) Cover Letter
3. T-Mobile Letter of Authorization
4. Photo sims
5. Project Description Letter
6. PLA-26 Telecom Application Form
The proposed electrical modification does not result in substantial change to the existing wireless facility. The
modification conforms with Section 6409(a) Eligible Facilities and will not result in substantial change to the
existing antenna support structure, base station, facility in that:
• The proposed electrical modification to the base station will not increase the existing height of the base
station by more than 10% or 10 feet, whichever is greater;
• The proposed electrical modification will not involve the installation of more than the standard number of
new equipment cabinets for the technology involved;
• The proposed electrical modification will not involve adding an appurtenance to the body of the base station
that would protrude from the edge of the base station more than six feet; and
• The proposed electrical modification will not involve excavation outside the current base station site.
