THE CONTRACTOR OR SUBCONTRACTOR SHALL BE DEEMED TO BID THE COSTLY ALTERNATE, BUT SHALL PROCEED WITH

6. EACH SUBCONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS OWN CLEAN-UP, AND SHALL REMOVE ALL WASTE AND DEBRIS RESULTING

SATISFACTORY TO THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR, SHALL TAKE ALL PRUDENT MEASURES TO SAFEGUARD ADJACENT PUBLIC
AND PRIVATE PROPERTY; AND SHALL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROPER BEHAVIOR OF HIS PERSONNEL.
11. THE WORK OF EACH SUBCONTRACTOR SHALL BE DEEMED TO BE GUARANTEED IN COMPLIANCE WITH CALIFORNIA LAW A
MINIMUM OF ONE YEAR FROM DATE OF ACCEPTANCE BY THE OWNER, EXCEPT THAT LOEIGER GUARANTEE PERIODS, WHERE
SET FORTH IN THESE NOTES, MAY BE REQUIRED OF SOME TRADES.
12. EACH SUBCONTRACTOR, BY COMMENCING WORK THE WORK ON HIS TRADE VERIFIES THAT HE HAS INSPECTED AND
ACCEPTED THE WORK OF PRIOR TRADES. PRIOR WORK NOT ACCEPTABLE SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE ATTENTION OF THE
GENERAL CONTRACTOR AND OWNER IN A TIMELY MANNER FOR DIRECTION ON PROPER PROCEDURE.
CONCRETE AND FOUNDATION:
1. ALL CONCRETE SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM ULTIMATE COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF 2,500 PSI IN 28 DAYS. ALL CONCRETE
SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM OF A S -SACK MIX, ALL PLACEMENT OF CONCRETE SURFACES SHALL BE PROTECTED AND CURED IN
ACCORDANCE WITH ACCEPTED BUILDING PRACTICES.
2. THE PAD SHALL HAVE A MOISTURE CONTENT OF 18% TO 24% FOR A MINIMUM DEPTH OF 18 INCHES, TO FEDERAL HOUSING
AUTHORITY (FHA) SPECIFICATIONS.
3. FOOTINGS SHALL HAVE A MINIMUM OF TWO (2) CONTINUOUS N0.4 STEEL REINFORCING BARS AS SHOWN TO THE
FOOTING DETAILS (U.N.O.)
4. PRIOR TO POURING CONCRETE, THE FOUNDATION CONTRACTOR SHALL PREPARE THE PAD WITH 4INCHES OF PAD GRAVEL
