Hi Malissa,
I spoke to Dan Breeden yesterday and he thought it would be OK for me to participate on this
committee. The only question was if I have to be residing in Butte County. I do own 300 acres
in Butte County (District 5) and may be purchasing additional property there shortly and I have
proposed a large (1,100 acre) solar project in Butte County which is going through the EIR
process currently, Dan has first-hand knowledge about this project. However, I do reside in
southern California, but I do business in Butte, Lassen and Modoc counties as I am developing
solar projects in all three counties also. My family has owned property in Butte county since
the 1940's when my grandfather purchased our current land in Magalia. Please send the
application so I can fill it out. I would be representing District 5, which is Doug Tetter's district.
