Crews will work diligently to minimize traffic disruptions and complete the work within the specified timeframe. Work hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. To ensure the safety of both motorists and workers, traffic control measures will be implemented throughout the duration of the project. Motorists are advised to exercise caution, follow posted signage, and consider alternate routes to avoid delays. Tree pruning work will raise the tree canopy over the road surface to increase clearance and remove damaged and dead limbs. Pruning will help to reduce falling limbs and branches that are a hazard to the traveling public. Additionally, the County certified arborist identified 11 trees as being diseased or dying. Diseased or dying trees can serve as a breeding ground for pests and diseases, potentially affecting the health of nearby trees. Diseased or dying trees can also be susceptible to collapse, posing a significant safety risk. Keeping the health and safety of Butte County residents in mind, the 11 diseased or dying trees are scheduled for removal during this project. Butte County recognizes that this tree work may cause an inconvenience to residents and businesses in the affected areas. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we strive to enhance the overall health of this resource. The long-term benefits of this work will include increased visibility to roadside signs, reduced hazards for falling limbs and branches, and help to reduce disease through the tree's canopy. ### Miranda Bowersox Communications/Public Information Officer Butte County Administration 25 County Center Drive, Oroville Ca. 95965 T. 530.552.3320 M. 530.282.2146 Twitter | Facebook | YouTube | Pinterest
