address the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (FERC) comments regarding an
erodibility assessment to support the spillway rehabilitation project (Project) at Bucks
Diversion Dam (or Lower Bucks Dam), which is part of PG&E’s Bucks Creek Hydroelectric
Project, FERC No. 619. FERC original ly requested the erodibility assessment in Comment 5 of their May 10 , 2022, letter, which was superseded by Comment 3 from their April 27, 2023, letter. A table summarizing the Project correspondence between PG&E and FERC that is
specific to the spillway erodibility assessment is provided below to aid FERC’s review. It
should be noted that in PG&E’s November 14, 2023, request for an extension of time letter ,
listed below, PG&E inadvertently referenced Comment 2 from FERC’s May 10, 2022, rather
than Comment 5. Purpose of Correspondence Letter Date FERC provided Comment 5 (spillway terminus and plunge pool erodibility assessment) May 10, 2022 PG&E’s original response to FERC’s May 10, 2022, Comment 5 June 14, 2022 FERC Comment 3 regarding PG&E’s June 14, 2022, letter April 27, 2023 PG&E’s plan and schedule to address FERC’s April 27, 2023, Comment 3 June 16, 2023 FERC acceptance of PG&E’s June 16, 2023, plan and schedule, Comment 3 September 15, 2023 PG&E’s updated plan and schedule to address FERC’s September 15, 2023, Comment 3 November 1, 2023 PG&E’s extension of time request for FERC’s April 27, 2023, Comment 3 November 14, 2023 FERC Comments 2 and 3 regarding PG&E’s November 1, 2023, letter December 21, 2023 PG&E’s response to FERC’s December 21 , 2023, comments February 5, 2024 Document Accession #: 20240501-5053 Filed Date: 05/01/2024

A summary and conclusion of PG&E’s efforts to address Comments 5 and 3 is enclosed with
this letter (Enclosure 1) along with the results of the spillway erodibility assessment prepared
by PG&E’s consultant (Enclosure 2). PG&E has reviewed the consultant’s assessment and concurs with the information presented therein. PG&E believes that Comments 5 and 3 ha ve been satisfactorily addressed based on the
information enclosed with this letter and no further action is necessary. Should you have
