Subject: Kelly Ridge Fire Department!
I'm writing to this board to let you know that WE THE People elected you in are not happy
with your decision over the Kelly Ridge Fire department! You elected officials went after
Southside fire department, then Berry Creeks, now ours. Where will you stop?! When you no
longer serve us for our best interest, it's time we evaluate your positions. You're costing us our
properties at risks and families to be placed at in harms way with response time if something
happens. We're out far away to have good response time in emergencies. Thankfully we do
have Kelly Ridge Fire close by. It's time we start holding this country and city responsible for
their actions!! No amount of money is worth saving for that?! You cut that library but don't
touch our Fire Department!! We are gathering to fight to stop this nonsense once and for all.
Kelly Ridge Fire is NOT recreational like the library!! How dare anyone even consider them
in the same category!! Life and death is not recreational, It is emphasizing that it is extremely
important, often because someone may die or suffer from great harm if people do not act
immediately. Greed is taking over my state but we will stop it here when it comes to my
town. Born and raised here since 1969! We all leave, this area, it will be nothing and you're
outta jobs. Our lives and livelihood is nothing to mess with. I hope you all make the right
decision to leave the Kelly ridge fire department in place and keep funding them. After all it is
our taxes and votes.
